Director's Corner - Philip Lovekamp

As many of you know, Philip Lovekamp, an OCHS sophomore, was recently diagnosed with leukemia. Philip is a sophomore at OCHS. Philip's family has requested that their OCS family pray and rally around him. They expect a long year of weekly trip to Kosairs Hospital in Louisville for chemo treatments and probably hospitalizations for infections and illnesses as well. I have told them that the prayers and positive thoughts had already begun and would continue throughout their arduous ordeal. To follow Philip's progress a Caring Bridge page has been created.  May God our almighty Father shower Philip with His healing graces.

I appreciate all you do to help us fulfill our mission of excellence in Catholic faith formation and academics. As always, your comments and insights are important to me. I can be reached via phone at 852-8028 and email at ken.rasp@owensborocatholic.org.

Market Day Orders - Deadline September 14

Market Day orders will be accepted through September 14 at 11 pm.

Market Day is a great way to help earn money for our schools. Each month we will participate in a Market

Day where you can PRE-ORDER food items and pick them up at the K-3 Campus.

An order sheet will come home each month with the date of pick up. Orders will need to be in a week before Market Day-however to make things really easy-you can also place an order on line? Then you show up on Market Day between 10:00 and 11:00 AM and your order will be prepackaged and ready for easy pick up.

To order on line (and check out the delicious food items for sale), go to http://www.marketday.com/ . Register your e-mail address to receive reminders to order, special offers and free items for online customers. Our Market Day account # is 28412. Credit cards can be used for online orders. Orders paid for on Market Day require cash or check.
