Introduction to Art – at Brescia University
This introduction to art course will introduce students to the elements of art (Line, Color, Texture, Shape, Value, Form, and Space). Students will learn about these elements by creating various works of art and other activities. Great for all ages and skill levels.

Grade levels: Kindergarten – grade 6
Dates:
Session I - June 9-26 Monday – Thursday - 2 weeks, 8 sessions
Session II - July 6-23 Monday – Thursday - 2 weeks, 8 sessions
Times: 9:00-10:30
Class Limit: 10
Materials Needed: White paper, Colored construction paper, Scissors, Glue, Crayons, Markers, Tempera paint (red, blue, yellow, white, black), Paint brushes, Old magazines, Modeling clay, Cardboard, String, Rulers, Bandanas (one for each student), Ribbon
