OCMS Weekly Reminders - February 8-12, 2010

Monday, 2/8:
Progress reports will be sent home today with students.
Community Problem Solving meeting in the cafeteria after school.
BETA Club 7th grade invitees there is an informational meeting after school until 3:30 in Ms. Cheshire's room. 8th grade officers are also asked to attend.

Tuesday, 2/9:
Football meeting at 7:45 a.m. for all that are interested . Information about conditioning and upcoming 7 on 7 competition and the season.

Wednesday, 2/10:
NO SCHOOL
2:00- Bishop Medley Ordination- Sportscenter

Friday, 2/12:
Homeroom reps - Student Council meeting at 8:00 a.m. Please wait for Mrs. McCormick or Mrs. Barr in the gym or cafeteria.

Conclusion of World's Finest Chocolate drive. A BIG thank you to all students participating! Any students who sell a case or have paid a donation, will receive a jean day at the end of the fundraiser. If you have sold your case and have money to turn in, please do so as soon as possible. Remember the "Payment by Check Incentive" on the prize sheet: $25.00 SCRIP SUCCE$$ Gift Certificate - Each student who makes their payment in full BY CHECK PAYABLE TO OCS, by February 12, will have their name placed in a drawing for the gift certificate.

Anyone interested in joining the OCMS Track & Field team may sign up on the athletic bulletin board in the cafeteria. Last day to sign up is February 15.

Softball players - Coach Randolph has put a sign up sheet on the athletic bulletin board for anyone interested in trying out for OCHS freshman softball. The last day to sign up will be Tuesday, February 9.

All student athletes remember you are required to have KHSAA sports physical in the athletic office before trying out for any sport. Students may see Mr. Woodward to check to see if they already have one.

Green Fundraiser

Tuesday, February 9 - Friday, February 12

Beta Club will be collecting: Old cell phones, ink jet cartridges, laser jet cartridges, digital cameras, digital video cameras, iPod/mp3 players, handheld gaming systems, and laptop/notebook computers, GPS Devices, Radar Detectors, and E-Book Readers, and Newspapers.

**Please DO NOT bring in chargers, toner tanks, or other accessories as these cannot be recycled at this time.**

These items will be sent off to be recycled to EPA standards to raise funds for Beta Club s future service projects.
