Jacob’s Ladder Workshop – Grieving the Loss of a Child
The Diocesan Family Life Office, in conjunction with several Christian churches in the Daviess County area, is promoting a program called Jacob’s Ladder on Saturday, November 13, from 8:30am-1:30pm (Lunch provided) at Faith Lutheran Church
The mission of this program is: To provide a loving environment of healing and hope based on Scripture for persons grieving the loss of a child.
This day will be followed by four 90-minute Monday evening gatherings beginning on Monday, November 15th and concluding on Monday, December 6th. They will discuss different topics such as anger and guilt. The last session will include a healing and remembering ceremony, which will provide an opportunity for the participants to tell their stories and identify the commonalities they share.
Feel free to contact Ron Goltry for additional information or to RSVP at 686-7559 or email jcbsladder@gmail.com
