Safe Driving Essay Contest
As part of our 'No Ted' campaign, Mrs. Pagan's Creative Writing class wrote essays on safe driving in regards to texting, cell phone use and safe driving.
State Farm insurance agent Kathy Hudson saw a write-up in the M&I and contacted the school to encourage the students to be a part of the essay contest in conjunction with Safe Driving week which was October 17-23.
Three student essays were selected by the English department to be the top 3 winners
Bayly Zoglmann-1st place-$100
Julia Hayden-2nd place-$50
Sarah Murphy-3rd place-$25
