Director’s Corner - QPR Suicide Prevention Information and Local Community Forum

In a recent Director’s Corner, I informed you that along with our sponsoring Parishes and the Owensboro Regional Suicide Prevention Coalition, we would be offering QRP (Question – Persuade – Refer) training opportunities. QPR provides positive intervention techniques to help attendees recognize and respond positively to someone exhibiting suicide warning signs and behaviors. Please note that a training date has been added at St. Pius X on Thursday, April 14th beginning at 5:30 PM. I encourage all to find the time to attend one of these training sessions.

• Monday, March 21 at Our Lady of Lourdes – 6:30 to 8:30 PM

• Wednesday, March 23 at Sts. Joseph and Paul – 6:00 to 8:00 PM

• Wednesday, March 23 at St. Mary Magdalene – 6:30 to 8:30 PM

• Thursday, April 14 at St. Pius X – 5:30 to 7:30 PM

• Monday, April 18 at Immaculate – 6:30 to 8:30 PM

Please mark your calendar for a program sponsored by the Owensboro Regional Suicide Prevention Coalition and Owensboro Medical Health Systems on Bullying, Suicide and Depression. For additional information, please click on the link for additional information.
