OCHS Girls Track Team Earns Regional Title, Boys Team Members Qualify for State

Congratulations to the Girls Track team on their 2nd straight Regional Title. Those placing either 1st or 2nd Place in the Regional meet are:

300 Hurdles – Stephanie Dooper – 1st Place

High Jump – Stephanie Dooper – 1st Place

Long Jump – Stephanie Dooper – 2nd Place

100 meter dash – Elizabeth Searcy – 2nd Place

100 Hurdles – Kaylee Murphy – 2nd Place

1600 meter run – Olivia Cason – 2nd Place

3200 meter run – Olivia Cason – 2nd Place

Pole Vault – Rachel Hamilton – 2nd Place

Shot Put – Sarah Houston – 2nd Place



The girls team now advances to state.



In addition the following Boys team members also qualified for the state meet by finishing either 1st or 2nd Place in their event.

1600 meter run – Sam Thompson – 1st Place

Shot Put – Jordan White – 1st Place

Discus – Jordan White – 1st Place

Pole Vault – Justin Mahoney – 1st Place
