During the month of November, SCRUBS students will place smoke-free/smoking cessation information and raffle containers at various businesses throughout Owensboro.

Each community participant who takes the pledge may register to take a chance on winning a turkey in honor of “Going Cold Turkey.” The drawing will be held live on WBKR, 92.5 FM on Thursday, November 17 about 7:40 am.

To participate, you are asked to take a pledge promising to:
• “Go Cold Turkey“ and be tobacco and smoke free at least on November 17, and hopefully each day afterwards
• Pledging to not smoking around others, especially babies and children
• If you are non-smoker, you may pledge to continue to live tobacco free and support a loved one who smokes to also be tobacco free
