OCMS Faculty Member – Final Profession as Oblate of St. Benedict

Mrs. Mary Cheshire
Mrs. Mary (Cheshire) Lamberg made Final Profession as an Oblate of St. Benedict for the Sisters of St. Benedict, Monastery Immaculate Conception, Ferdinand, Indiana on Sunday October 16, 2011.

Mary studied the Rule of St. Benedict for two years while meeting with a spiritual advisor, a nun at the convent. Of course, much prayer is involved as well. It is a lay person's method of aligning themselves with a particular charism and as close to being a religious as a lay person can get.

Mrs. Cheshire is a faculty member at OCMS teaching Language Arts, Religion and BETA Club Faculty sponsore.
