OCMS Earth Day Highlights

On April 22, 2009 several presenters within the Owensboro community presented ways for our students to learn more about the environment and ways to conserve energy as well as industry related to energy.

Scott Heath - Kenergy - Energy Use/Conservation
John Wright - Owensboro Grain - Biodiesel
Ron Rhodes - Fox 7 - Weather
Joe Ford - Importance of Conservation
Barbara Edge - Health Department - Going Green

Jennifer Payne, OCMS Science Department Chair, states, “This was a great way to introduce our students to Environment Science and Engineering and how we call can help our environment.”
