Duke University Talent Search

The Duke TIP 7th grade talent search identifies students who have scored in the 95th percentile on a grade level achievement test. OCMS had 45 students who qualified to participate in the TIP testing program. As part of the program, students are offered the opportunity to take the SAT or ACT to learn more about their abilities.

OCMS had 27 students who tested. Congratulations to the following:

State Recognition: Those who have scored equal to or better than half the college bound seniors who took the same tests
Meredith Bickett, Samuel Booth, Drew Harvey, Alex Hayden, Mason Jackson, Darcy James, Georgia McMaster, Patrick Mills, Jacob Payne, Stetson White and Audrey Wright

Grand Recognition: Those who have scored equal to or better than 90% of the college bound students who took the same tests
