OCMS Weekly Reminders April 16-20, 2012
Monday, April 16: ITBS testing begins.
Tuesday, April 17: ITBS Testing continues.
Wednesday, April 18: Progress reports will be sent home with students.

Thursday, April 19: Diocesan Rainbow Mass, Sportscenter, 10:30 a.m.
Beta Cub will be meeting this aftrernoon in Ms. Dooper's room until 3:45.
Friday, April 20: Regular day.
Yearbooks are selling fast! If you want to guarantee your copy, please turn in your order with payment into the office. Order forms are available at the office or from Ms. Patton.
The Owensboro Youth Council is currently taking applications for the 2012-2013 school year. Applications can be picked up in the guidance office from today through May 1. Applications must be turned in no later than Friday, May 4, by the end of the school day. Any questions, please check with Mrs. McCormick.
Every other year, all of the Catholic Schools throughout the Diocese gather at the SportsCenter to celebrate Mass with the Bishop. This Thursday, April 19, you are invited to join us as we celebrate the Rainbow Mass at 10:30 AM at the SportsCenter.
IMPORTANT NEWS FOR PARENTS OF 7TH GRADERS:The Iowa Test of Basic Skills (ITBS) standardized achievement testing for 7th graders will begin on Tuesday, April 17 and continue through Thursday, April 26. On April 17-18, students will complete the Cognitive Abilities Test; April 24-26 students will complete the ITBS Complete Battery. On days in between, students will be entering demographics on answer sheets and completing practice tests. PLEASE try not to schedule outside appointments during testing. Making up tests requires students to be pulled from classes and miss out on valuable instructional time.
